Putting a tomato sauce in a vegetable is good for health or not?
I doubt b'coz after all a sauce is a sort of preservative. Recently, i have known some vegetables taste good if u put 2-3 table spoons of Tomato sauce or chilli sauce in it. Please suggest.
Adding anything to your vegetables to enhance the flavour and encourage you to eat more of them can't be bad. Steer clear of loads of salt though! If you like the taste of tomatoes and chilli sauce with your veges, you could even try mixing in some canned chopped tomatoes which will provide additional nutrition without the high preservative content of tomato sauce.
