Mint Julep Cup

Gerbera daisies for my centerpieces...?
I'm thinking about buying a whole bunch of gerbera daisies in bulk to use for centerpieces at my reception. The venue will have two large, rectangular tables and about 20 or 25 smaller (seats 4 or 5), round tables.
I'm thinking about ordering a case of silver mint julep cups to put the flowers in. They are about 4 in. high and have a diameter of a little less than 3 1/2 inches at the top. ( http://www.save-on-crafts.com/mintjulep1.html ) I figured we could put one centerpiece on the small tables and three on the larger ones.
My question is: Will 6 or 7 gerbera daisies per cup be enough? My wedding colors are orange/silver/white. Should I just stick with orange and white flowers, or should I add a little hot pink for fun?
Do you think just the flowers are enough, or should I also add some votives?
Thanks!
I'm worried that 4 inches high is not tall enough to support the stems (unless you plan to cut them very short). I would recommend something taller. Buy a practice vase, put in some daisies and set it on a table that is approximately the same size as the smaller ones. Does it look too small? If the tables seat only 4-5 people it might be fine, but I would want to do a test run to see how it looks. I think adding votives would be a nice touch. Remember that before the wedding you will need a cool place to store the daisies and a way to transport them on site.
Good luck!
