Pierced Earring Pain?
I've had my ears pierced for a year and a half now, and every time I put in earrings I get a piercing swelling pain. It is EXTREMELY painful to put them in to the point that i can't do it myself the pain is so intense. It feels like someone is piercing my ear all over again, except slowly and more painfully, it also swells and bleeds. After I have them in for a while like a few weeks i get a gunk caked on the back of my earrings. I only wear gold or sterling silver. I've already seen a doctor and they could only suggest letting them close and re pierce them. I don't want to let them close. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or has been through the same thing and found a fix. Please help, any suggestions are really appreciated.
leave post earings in for 3-4 months. and make sure to put neosporin on the earings to help your piercings. also if you have piercing cleaner I would put it on your ear piercings with a cotton ball with your earings in. the same thing happened to me when I took mine out when your supposed to take them out. but I didnt know you were supposed to take out your original earings that pierced your ears and put a post in and leave it in for 3-4 months. good luck!
